The MES Research Forum conducted the Faculty Seminar Series on 27th September, 2013 at Dr. K. M. Vasudevan Pillai Campus. Ten research papers were presented in the subject areas of Architecture, Management, Education, Biotechnology and Engineering by faculty members of the various institutions of MES.

Dr. Daphne Pillai, Founder of the MES Research Forum, stressed on the importance of Research to keep our institutions intellectually strong and vibrant.

Prof. Celina Joy, Chairperson of the MES Research Forum welcomed all the delegates.

Prof. Smita Dalvi, a Fullbright scholar and the former Chairperson of the MES Research Forum was the Chief Guest. Prof. Dalvi spoke about a collaborative effort towards conducting research in inter-disciplinary areas and developing a professional attitude towards research.

A compendium of research papers compiled by Dr. Kaustubh Sontakke and Prof. Aditya Sontakke (Professors at PiMSR and PHiMSR respectively) was released by Dr. Daphne Pillai.

Mahatma Education Society conducted one day Research Forum Seminar at PHiMSR, Pillai HOCL Educational Campus, Rasayani, on 26th April, 2013.

The Research forum was an idea initiated by Dr. Daphne Pillai, Chairperson, MES Management Board.

The Research Forum was inaugurated by lighting the E-lamp by Dr. Priam Pillai, Chief Operating Officer, MES.

The Research Forum critically examines key issues in Management Studies. The Forum sets itself the task of disseminating factually accurate information in addition to analysis on different aspects in Management.

The Forum encompassed diverse and interesting topics in the field of Education and Management. To name a few of them were, Ethical dilemma, Investment Avenues and Planning, Stress Management, Reasons for Attrition, Nexus between Recession and Black Money, Job satisfaction of teachers in correlation with organisational character, Rights of women in the work place under the Indian Legal System, and so on.

The Forum works to advocate for increased support for Management Research. We are developing a common global vision for the future to drive Research and Standardization. The Forum is unique in bringing together Industry and Academia from across various disciplines, with a strong focus on quality research.

The forum was a successful event which enriched the audience and motivated others to do more research in different areas in education.
